The declared objective is to satisfy the real needs of professional transport but which, thanks to its great versatility, offer itself as a means of everyday life and leisure.

The new model marks the important return of the brand in the pick-up segment after about thirty years from the launch of the last Jeep specimen with 'truck' and body credentials, namely the Comanche, produced from 1986 to 1992. Gladiator is therefore part of the history of Jeep and in that tradition of the brand that has its roots in 1947, the year in which Willys Overland presented the first 1-ton four-wheel drive truck based on the CJ-2A model.

This first pick-up was followed over the span of half a century by several models, all with common characteristics, that is, built to be robust, versatile and reliable.

Among these, the FC-150/170 models (1957-1965), the Jeep Gladiator / Serie J (1963-1987), the CJ-8 Scrambler (1981-1985) and the Jeep Comanche (1986-1992) , the latest pickup from the American brand before returning to the scene with Gladiator, which shares the DNA of the Jeep Wrangler in terms of all-terrain and open-air driving freedom.

At the same time, it is a model that has been specifically designed and engineered to be 100% a pick-up and allow you to "go anywhere and do anything" thanks to advanced technological contents, a powerful engine, practicality and flexibility in the cargo transportation.

To all this is added the Jeep design, as well as specific equipment to be able to meet the credentials of the pick-up segment and provide customers with additional functionality both for experiencing leisure adventures and for tackling everyday activities.

There are also numerous customization options by Mopar, thanks to accessories and components dedicated to performance, developed specifically for this model.

In Italy, the Gladiator is available in the Overland version, in the limited edition Launch Edition version and, starting from April, in the special 80th Anniversary celebratory series, all equipped with 3.0-liter, 264 HP MultiJet V6 engine. of power and 600 Nm of torque, combined with the eight-speed automatic transmission.
