The door opens and everything looks exactly like it did on YouTube: the aquarium, the graffito halfway up the stairs, the landlord barefoot, with a fat gold chain and in sweatpants - millions could already see all of this on the Internet when Marcel Eris was in several clips new home showed.

A year ago he bought a house and turned it into a gamer's dream, with a spacious gaming cellar and lots of colored light on the ceiling.

Framed YouTube awards hang on the hallway walls, and a baseball bat leans against the front door.

You never know, says Eris, who's at the door.

He lives in a middle-class residential area in northern Germany, but likes to pose as a bad boy.

Marcel Eris, better known as MontanaBlack, love many, hate many, and probably know most of those under twenty.

He is one of the most successful German streamers: several times a week Eris broadcasts live on the streaming portal Twitch, plays computer games, comments on what he is doing and chats to himself.

You can watch him for free, but tens of thousands of his fans pay him money voluntarily, through monthly subscriptions or donations.
