Twitter announced yesterday (Monday) that it will begin flagging tweets with misleading or incorrect information about corona vaccines.

In addition, the social network will attach links to information sources that will explain that the vaccines are safe and approved for use.

Users who have improved the new policy will be blocked.

"As of today, we will start displaying labels on tweets that may contain misleading information about vaccines for Corona, in addition to our ongoing efforts to remove even more harmful information from the platform," the official Twitter blog said.

"Our goal is ultimately to use both automated testing and human auditing to address content that violates our inaccurate anti-vaccination information rules."

According to the social network, "repeated violations of the new policy are enforced on the basis of the violations accrued by the account." A user whose content is flagged more than 5 times will be permanently suspended from the platform. "We continue to work closely with local, national and global public health authorities," they added.
