Tel Aviv Cinematheque opens

The Tel Aviv Cinematheque opened its doors for a short time last June, and was immediately forced to close again.

This coming Monday it will reopen, and this time - hopefully - it will be long term.

So popcorn, as usual, will not be, but yes you will find some specials: films by local and international directors in honor of International Women's Day, and pre-premieres of hits like the Bosnian "Where Are You Going", which is considered a favorite to be nominated for an Oscar.

The Cinematheque will also offer a first chance to see on a big screen "Children", Ada Ushpiz's documentary that recently won the Jerusalem Film Festival, and in general, it currently stands as the only option to go to the cinema in Tel Aviv, so do not miss it.
