HOT announced this morning (Wednesday) its entry into the fiber optic market in a series of technological and consumer moves: launching an Internet service of up to 1000 MB on the fiber network along with upgrading the viewing experience and a range of new products, featuring Patrick Drahi, owner of Altice (Altis) , Hot's parent company.

"Altis is proud to be part of the growth of the Israeli economy, and it is committed to the success of Hot," said Drahi.

"We have invested more than NIS 10 billion in infrastructure in Israel in the last decade and we will continue to invest until a broad deployment of fiber and the 5th generation network, in order to march Israel to the forefront of technology."

"The launch of the company's fiber optic service is in line with the Israeli market and a festive moment for us," said HOT CEO Tal Granot-Goldstein.

"Hot is proud to offer its customers a complete basket of solutions on the fiber network with an innovative interface. The new products will allow us to offer the best viewing and browsing experience in the communications market," Granot-Goldstein added.

About two million households - by 2025

According to the company, in the coming days it will allow more than 600,000 households living in the deployment areas to join the fiber optic network.

Every year the company reaches hundreds of thousands more households - this is an unprecedented rate.

According to the company's plans, by 2025, the advanced deployment will reach most of the State of Israel, both in the fiber-optic network and in the 5G (5G) network.

Hot also reported the expected launch of a line of products, including a new wireless router and range amplifiers, which allow customers to enjoy the high-speed Internet network in Israel anywhere and at any point in the home, both wired and wireless.

The company launches an advanced and innovative interface, a dedicated streamer, a new converter and more.
