2021-03-04T05:37:22.147Z

Scheduled for March 31, not included in the Milleproroghe Decree (ANSA) With a letter addressed to the Minister of Transport Enrico Giovannini, the representatives of the entire national automotive sector (ANFIA, ANIASA, ASSILEA, FEDERAUTO, UNASCA and UNRAE) urgently requested the extension of the terms for the entry into force of the new regulation of the Single circulation document for the registration and transfer of ownership of vehicles, scheduled for March 31st.

With a letter addressed to the Minister of Transport Enrico Giovannini, the representatives of the entire national automotive sector (ANFIA, ANIASA, ASSILEA, FEDERAUTO, UNASCA and UNRAE) urgently requested the extension of the terms for the entry into force of the new regulation of the Single circulation document for the registration and transfer of ownership of vehicles, scheduled for March 31st.

The request arises from the non-inclusion in the Milleproroghe Decree of the amendment that contained the extension for the full implementation of the DU.

The Associations of the sector justify the urgency of this extension with the impossibility of fully implementing the migration process to the new system of the "Single Document" by the aforementioned date, also expressing deep concern about the regular functioning of the related system, together with the concrete risk of causing considerable inconvenience to operators and citizens, with consequent direct negative impacts on the car market, already severely slowed down by the ongoing socio-economic crisis.

In the letter, the Associations underline the complexity of the situation since, although in a phase of progressive consolidation and despite the strong commitment of the Administrations (Motorization and ACI / PRA) and of the Motorist's Telematic Counters, the system still requires various IT implementations and held, without forgetting the epidemiological context and limitations in which all operators continue to work.

The Associations hope that the Government will insert an appropriate and reasonable new term within the first useful provision, granting an extension of at least 6 months, which can come into force before 31 March.
