Excerpt from the series "Baby Bull in the Middle" by Here 11 starring Anat Waxman and Gili Itzkovich (here 11)

While the Knesset agreed to film the "Race for a Million" reality show in Mishkena and even shut down its activities and paid a lot of money to the network for it, when it comes to political drama taking place in the Knesset corridors from the creator of Shmuel Hasefri ("Polishok") - the attitude is completely different.

The production of the comedy-political drama series "Baby Bull in the Middle" (which will air on March 7 here at 11), which critically and humorously deals with what is happening in the Knesset, asked to film in the Knesset - and to her surprise did not receive approval.

Culture learned that the production applied many times and did not receive permission from the Knesset to photograph anything in or outside the residence, not even background photos or photography in the plaza or on the nearby sidewalk.

This is despite the fact that at the time of filming the series, the Knesset was not active in any case.

The closest place to the Knesset where photos were taken was in a public park outside it.

On the other hand, in November 2018, the Knesset was partially closed due to filming for the reality show "The Race for a Million."

In addition, in some areas of the Mishkan no passage was allowed, and in various places signs and signs of reality were hung on the building.

It was also reported in Globes at the time that the Knesset had co-financed the production of the episode, and it is estimated that there was a high amount of over one million shekels.

The production of the series "Baby Bull in the Middle" also submitted an attractive proposal to the Knesset for cooperation in which not only will the series be filmed but also a video will be filmed in Mishkena with a glossary of democratic concepts from the Knesset, for the benefit of schools, but again met with refusal.

The building presented as the Knesset in the series consists of dozens of places, including the Agency building, the Nation Buildings and Ramat Gan College.

However, it should be noted that the Knesset apparatus cooperated with the author in the long pre-writing investigation, during which the book spent about a year in the Knesset.

A source in the Knesset claims that the mechanism did not know the contents of the series.

The Knesset responded: "This appeal did not reach the table of the current Speaker of the Knesset and the CEO. It was all addressed and dealt with during the term of the previous Speaker and CEO and before the term of the current Chairman and CEO."

The political comedy-drama "Baby Bull in the Middle" will air here on March 7, just before the 2021. Elections, signed as creator and writer Shmuel Hasefri ("Polishuk", "Black", "The Schwartz Dynasty" and more) and starring Gili Itzkovitz, among others. Anat Waxman, Avi Kushnir, Yaniv Bitton, Kobi Maimon, Little Schwartz, Tzachi Halevi, Naomi Lvov, Moshe Ashkenazi and Dana Devorin.

At the center of the series is the figure of 24-year-old baby Mordechai (Itzkovitz), a reality cast who lost in the "Next Survivor Brother" final, who receives an offer to join a center party called "Bull in the Middle" instead of the unrealistic 10 -

A year after the election, after three MKs from the party retire under suspicious circumstances, Honey enters the Knesset and discovers a new and tough world. Honey, backed by "Honey's Fury Candy", her loyal army of followers from the days of the next surviving brother, will undergo a grueling political initiation track, Hava Betrayals, humiliations and attempts at political elimination, and becoming a politician.

Tomorrow (Friday) will be published in Walla!
