The new models and manufacturers are expected to make an increase in the coming months.

And there are quite a few of them

Dozens of new models are expected to land in Israel in the coming months, from small and cheap to the pinnacle of luxury and prestige.

Among all these, new brands will start local activity.

One of the clear trends is the beginning of a massive penetration of Chinese automakers.

The increasing current from the East, some of which Israel uses as an initial exploration of the European market, marks part of the change that is about to take place in the global car market.

And another clear and unsurprising trend - a massive increase in electric vehicles or electric aids that will be marketed here this year.

In light of the changes experienced by the global industry, Tesla's entry into the domestic market and more, this trend will only intensify.

Naturally here too the Chinese will play a key role with cheaper and more accessible offers to the electric world.

Audi:

Audi started this year with a facelift to the Q2, its small recreational vehicle.

Later this year we will see the strengthening of the company's electric models.

The E-Tron GT, Audi's all-electric sports model, will arrive here first.

After that, and more importantly for the local market, here comes the E-Tron Q4, which shares a platform with Volkswagen's electric ID models.

The new electric recreational vehicle will also have a Sportback version, just like in the big Etron.

Opel: Opel

's news begins with the Crossland, the small recreational vehicle that underwent a very slight facelift late last year.

It will be followed by another small recreational vehicle from the company, the Moka.

This is a completely new model based on Peugeot's 2008 platform.

The Moka will also come in a full electric version with 136 hp and a declared driving range of 322 km.

According to Opel the Mocha demonstrates the company's new design language and we will be able to meet it in all its new models in the future.

Alfa Romeo:

Alfa Romeo is concentrating in the first part of the year on renewing and improving the powerful and exciting version of the Julia.

It starts with a clover-green version whose latest version has already landed in the country.

This will continue with the GTA version introduced last year, this takes the beautiful Julia to an even more extreme place.

We would not expect to see too many examples of the GTA on the roads.

This is the most extreme car Alfa-Romeo produces today with a limited production series and price accordingly.

BMW:

Towards the middle of the year, the latest BMW M models are expected to land here.

The list includes the new M3, its coupe version (M4) and maybe even the CS version of the M5.

This dream team will also be joined by the sunroof version of the 4 Series.

There are also quite a few two-wheelers that will be renewed this year alongside a classic version equipped with the new BMW R18.

Bentley: The

redesigned Bentley has already arrived at Bentley's showroom.

A V8 version of the company's super-luxury car-flying book is expected to join it in March.

This will offer a cheap (relatively yes?) Option for the "regular" Flying Book with the W12 engine.

Although the V8 version is weaker, the performance data is not significantly compromised on paper.

Husqvarna:

The Swedish motorcycle manufacturer (owned by the Austrian KTM) will continue to develop its road models with the arrival of the 901 Nordan in Israel.

The Nordic is based on KTM's mid-range adventure platform and carries the latest 890 engine.

Like the rest of the Husqvarna road models the look of the Nordics, unlike anything on the road.

Volvo:

Throughout the year, Volvo will offer more and more models with a semi-hybrid system (48 volts).

These will serve as an opening for the full electric version of the XC40.

It will come here with design changes compared to the familiar model, dual propulsion, an engine that produces 407 hp and a declared range of 400 km.

The small body and the large power of the electric propulsion unit, produce a data acceleration from standstill to 100 km / h in 4.9 s.

A figure that will not embarrass an up-to-date sports car.

Toyota:

Toyota has long since introduced the Yaris Cross, a kind of leisure version of their little car, which will also come to us.

The look is more versatile and reminiscent of the Rav 4 and the ventral spacing has grown by three inches compared to the regular Yaris.

The Yaris Cross also offers dual propulsion with the rear wheels powered by electric power and powered on demand.

So on the face of it, the Yaris Cross is supposed to offer some capability even beyond the paved road.

Hyundai: A

new Tucson and a facelift for the I30 will arrive here in the first half of the year.

In the middle of the year, the new I20 is also expected to arrive.

Under the new design, it will be possible to find a 1.0-liter engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

For this generation, Hyundai will also offer electric amplification in the form of a semi-hybrid version (48 volts).

The I20 looks more versatile from the outside thanks to dimensions that have grown laterally and a height that has been cut slightly.

Inside the cabin, the atmosphere is more modern, thanks in part to a 10.25-inch multimedia screen.

Land Rover:

Land Rover will continue their hybrid trend with a plug-in hybrid version of the new Defender.

The PHEV version will initially be released only with the 110 version of the Defender and will offer a declared electric range of 43 km.

The data sheet talks about 404 hp combined and impressive and acceleration to 100 km / h in 5.6 short seconds.

Mazda:

Mazda celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2020.

We are expected to receive special versions in a limited number of models to mark the occasion.

But the real news for the Japanese brand is concentrated in another vehicle.

This is an MX30 small and electric recreational vehicle from the company that will probably come here in a pure electric version without a long-lasting petrol engine.

Mini:

The British brand models underwent a facelift several months ago and should arrive in the country soon.

Expect new three-door, five-door and convertible versions in the first phase.

In the list of updates to the various mini versions, you can find design changes to the exterior and cabin, a larger multimedia screen and most importantly - important updates to the offer of active safety systems.

Mercedes:

Mercedes will significantly thicken its electric supply this year.

Part of the company's master plan to introduce 14 fully electric models over the next two years.

The EQA that will land here soon, is actually an electric version of the GLA, the company's small and familiar recreational vehicle.

The exterior and interior look are quite similar to the original car with the declared range standing at 426 km.

You can expect the arrival of more powerful versions and a doubling of propulsion along the way.

Nissan: The

Nissan Aria, the company's brand new electric recreational vehicle, is expected to arrive here in the middle of the year.

The look is quite futuristic with a coupe-like body that becomes popular in the genre and a minimalist cabin.

Nissan offers the Aria with a variety of propulsion versions and batteries, it is not yet known which of them will arrive in the country.

Range data varies from version to version and ranges from 340 km to 500 km.

Acceleration times range from 5.1 seconds to 7.6 seconds - the source of the differences in the different power of the versions (178-278 hp) and the form of propulsion (front or dual).

Subaru: The

new Subaru Outback was introduced as early as 2019 and was supposed to land here in late 2020 but its arrival in the country suffered from the crisis that befell the world.

Now, it should land here and offer a new design, improved interior, various technological updates (starting from the smartphone for example) and a hybrid propulsion system alongside the familiar 2.5-liter engine.

Suzuki:

Suzuki will continue the moderate electrocution process of their model range.

The crossover is expected to get the company’s semi-hybrid propulsion option.

Later will come the company-based models of the collaboration with Toyota.

These models, in fact the Toyota Corolla Tourer and Rab 4 with Suzuki emblems on them, will offer hybrid propulsion.

Citroen:

Citroen will start marketing the new C4 in the next two months.

Citroen's new generation family offers a different look, one that is squinting into the leisure districts.

The new model will also offer full electric propulsion with 136 hp and a declared range of 350 km.

Like this paddle unit, the rest of the C4's paddle units are familiar from other PSA models.

In addition, a rechargeable hybrid version of the C5 Aircross is also expected to arrive.

Skoda:

Skoda is supposed to have a rather busy electric year, depending on the production and allocation supplies to Israel.

There are two rechargeable hybrid versions for the Octavia and the Superb.

And most importantly, a fully electric recreational vehicle is expected to arrive here, Skoda Aniak.

The cognac offers dimensions similar to those of the Kodiak and is offered in several versions with the power ranging from 148 to 306 hp and ranges that reach up to 510 km.

Ford: Ford

has quite a few models in line but there is one that we would love to see here in particular.

This is a Ford Mustang Mach E. A large and sporty electric recreational vehicle.

It has nothing to do with the familiar Mustang or the good old Mach 1.

Yes there is here, the first electric vehicle of Ford in series production with its GT version producing 459 hp and 85 kg.

This is enough to accelerate the Mustang Mach E GT to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds with about 500 km of charging range.

Fiat:

A new and electric generation for the small Fiat 500.

The attractive Neo-Retro gets two electric propulsion options with 95 hp and 118 hp outputs and a driving range of 180 km and 320 km respectively.

Another line here is a series of advanced safety systems (finally) and even a level 2 autonomous capability, with which an electric version of the Ducato, the company's successful commercial vehicle, is also expected to arrive in Israel.

Peugeot: The

Peugeot 5008 has already reached us.

It gets the latest design language of the company models and the result, at least in the photos, is quite impressive.

You can also find here easier updates to the cabin, upgrading the active safety systems and even a night vision system.

The company will also start marketing the Metropolis 400 in Israel - its three-wheeled scooter.

Cadillac: The

Cadillac CT5, the CTS replacement, will arrive here slightly late.

The new generation of the luxury sedan will start its local way with 2.0-liter and 3.0-liter engines mated to a 10-speed gearbox, which transfers power to the rear wheels.

The CT5V will also soon start marketing here as the sporty and powerful version of the model.

KTM: The

new Adventure 890 will soon arrive in Israel, which will be a significant update to the Austrian manufacturer's offer.

This is an improved interpretation of the 790 Adventure sold here, mainly the Adventure gets a new and more powerful engine, an improved rear shock, updates to the advanced auxiliary systems and other minor changes.

The more extreme R version will also arrive soon.

Kia:

Kia Sorrento, the company's recreational vehicle, is expected to arrive here at the end of the current quarter with a new and updated model including a rechargeable hybrid version.

Not long after that, the electric nero is also expected to start its local path.

Along with these, the Kia Picanto will arrive here with a new power division and a single-clutch robotic gearbox.
