The Automotive Chamber of Commerce (CCA) updated the
used car price list
for the month of March, which has estimated values of more than
6,000 models
and made based on operations and periodic surveys of the marketing sector.
In this way, the CEC seeks to normalize the market reference prices, after several months of very marked distortions within each category that, among other factors, "contributed" to January and February not showing good records.
Taking this list into account, the March values show an increase between 4.5% and 7% compared to the previous one.
"We are in a market that is rearranging itself, finding new floor and ceiling values, minimum and maximum levels. Our task is to correctly redirect the valuation of vehicles to the owners, finding the equilibrium values that the market validates, with logic and fairness ”, said Alberto Príncipe, president of the Chamber of Automotive Commerce.
The CCA list includes the values of cars 0 km and their predecessors up to 2007. Taking these data into account, the
Volkswagen Gol
, the most sought-after used in recent years, has reference values ranging from $ 328,000 (Gol Power 1.6 3-door, 2007) up to $ 1,478,000 (Gol Trend Comfortline Tiptronic, 5-door from 2020).
In second place is the
Chevrolet Corsa / Classic
(from $ 350,000 to $ 686,000 -year 2016-) and in third place the
Renault Clio
(from $ 316,000 to $ 819,000 -2017-).
Volkswagen Goal.
The best-selling among the used.
Among the two pickups that are within the Top 10 best sellers, the
Toyota Hilux
, which ranks in fourth place, can be had starting at $ 1,028,000 (single cab 4x2 DX, 2007), while the
Ford Ranger
, eighth, from $ 604,000 (XL 4x2 single cab).
The Automotive Chamber of Commerce clarifies that these values are subject to variation according to the state of operation, conservation or other circumstances, and that they do not include transfer costs, insurance, freight, or debts.
