Less than a week after Women's Day, the women almost completely took over the 63rd Grammy ceremony, held tonight (Sunday through Monday) in Los Angeles and broadcast live on Yes.

Beyoncé broke the all-time cumulative winning record for any artist tonight, with 28 Grammy Awards, picking up the Best R&B Award for "Black Parade" - the song with the most nominations at the ceremony.

Beyoncé, who has not won a significant Grammy Award since "Single Ladies" in 2010, generally garnered the most nominations, nine, and won four of them.

Even before the event began, several of the awards were handed out, in which Beyonce and her 9-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, won the best music video award for "Brown Skin Girl".

In doing so, Blue Ivy became the youngest Grammy winner ever - another record set for the family tonight.

Beyoncé's two remaining awards were for her guest appearance on the remix of Megan Di Stallion's song "Savage" - an award for best rap performance and an award for best rap song.

The first of them is the first time two women have won an award, another story that Beyoncé shares.

Megan Di Stallion herself has also won the Best New Artist Award.

Billy Aylish, last year's big winner, won the award this time too - this year's recording of "Everything I Wanted".

In her speech, the 19-year-old singer insisted that Megan De Stallion should have won in this category as well.

Another story recorded tonight: Taylor Swift received the Album of the Year award for "Folklore," making her the first woman to win this award three times.

The Grammy ceremony was originally scheduled to take place on January 31, but was postponed due to the corona, and accordingly was also held without an audience and a combination of live clips and pre-recorded performances.

Among others, Harry Styles, who opened the evening, appeared as Doa Lipa, BTS, Megan Di Stallion and Billy Aylish.

The ceremony will be broadcast on Tuesday evening on yes and on STINGTV.
