A Washington District Court judge has accepted the tech giant's lawsuit - and overturned the Trump administration's decision • "National security interests have not been proven to be under threat"

The district court in Washington, D.C., has issued a restraining order against a boycott of Xiaomi, according to a Reuters news agency report.
Judge Rudolf Contriras said the decision was "substantially flawed."
The judge questioned the inclusion of the Chinese technology giant in the "blacklist" of the Ministry of Defense of "Chinese Communist Military Companies".
The decision was made by former US President Donald Trump a few days before the end of his term. Shiomi then filed a lawsuit against the US government, calling the move "illegal and unconstitutional."

Shiomi welcomed the decision in a tweet on the company's official Twitter page, noting that the company will continue to wage a legal battle until they permanently remove the ban from investing in the company in the US.
Wawi, one of the largest manufacturers in the world, is at the center of the US-China conflict over technology and information security following the harsh sanctions imposed on former US President Donald Trump by the boycott.
