"Important: You must enter. There is suspicious activity," reads a text message sent early Tuesday morning to tens to hundreds of thousands of people in Israel.
This is a malicious message that intends to carry out sophisticated phishing, stressing the users and in the morning, while they wake up, try to "fish" them and steal the PayPal account information from them.
The PayPal platform enables the transfer of funds and payments, and in recent years hackers have been trying to commit fraudulent disguises on the platform, in order to obtain account information and then steal money from users.

The information security company ESET Israel states: "From an initial check we conducted, as soon as the recipient clicked on the link, it reached a landing page that includes a Paypal logo, where it was asked to enter its email address, then the password. This is a popular way to collect user account information. "Both for causing damage to the account and for attempting to gain access to additional services that users who are attacked with the same login information (exactly the reason why we emphasize that every login to the account, should have unique login information, and not recycle passwords)," they noted.

"It is important to understand that you do not click on unidentified links that come from recipients in SMS messages. Today it is not a problem to impersonate the bank, the mail and also your best friend, and send you a so-called message in his name. Currently, the link is inactive. "Contributed to not many falling into the network of attackers," they added.
If you clicked on the link and entered your details, you must cancel all the credit cards you entered in PayPal and then also change the password in PayPal.
