The eighth generation of golf is finally coming to Israel.

Champion Motors, an importer of Volkswagen in Israel, is currently launching, with considerable delay, the eighth generation of Volkswagen Golf.
The best-selling model in Europe first introduced in 1974 and sold over 35 million units worldwide.

As with any new generation of Golf here too the significant leap occurs in the cabin.
Things are said about the look and especially about the technological capability.
The cabin is controlled by digital display and control screens, with touch buttons instead of physical buttons, such as internal lighting control (more than 30 color options), main lighting and more.
From the outside, as usual in the model, this is a fairly delicate evolution.
The new grille includes the Volkswagen logo and a new light signature created by the headlights.
The lighting is also LED at the rear and the standard 16-inch diameter rims.
Golf is currently offered in Israel in two levels of equipment (Life and Life Plus) and the list of equipment in both is quite respectable.
The base version includes a digital dashboard, multimedia system with touch screen, seven speakers, mobile phone connectivity, wireless charging for the mobile phone, split climate control into three areas, indoor mood lighting in a variety of colors, rear camera, front and rear parking sensors including autonomous braking, Front and rear LED headlights, lighting and rain sensors and more.
The higher level of finish adds a smart key, a driver's seat with electric adjustment and massage, a sunroof and more.
But more important than these, are the advanced safety accessories.
Adaptive cruise control system, autonomous braking, lane departure control, dead space vehicle detection, fatigue alert and more can be found here from the base version.
The 'Plus' version adds enhanced semi-autonomous capability with the performance of these systems up to 210 km / h.
The Golf is offered here with two propulsion units, both of which use lightweight hybrid reinforcement.
The 1.0 L version offers a power of 110 and accelerates to 100 km / h in 10.2 s.
The 1.5-liter TSI engine version offers the power of 150 hp concepts and will finish the classic acceleration in 8.5 s.
