Did you receive an alert from the electricity company with a request to "update details"?
Beware - this is probably a scam attempt, designed to deceive your details for fraudulent purposes.
The IEC issued a request today (Saturday) to its customers to pay attention after reports were received during the day from customers who received a request via e-mail to "update details".
The impersonating message even threatens customers with "account suspension" if they do not update their details.
The electricity company stated that it did not distribute any of its applications in this spirit, and therefore - do not comment or reply to the email, as it is most likely a fraud.
