A man was indicted on Friday at the end of the day for murder of a spouse in a popular district of Le Havre, we learned on Saturday from the city's public prosecutor's office.

The victim was "stabbed several times", the public prosecutor of Le Havre, Bruno Dieudonné, told AFP.
The drama took place Thursday at the couple's home, located in the Neiges district, said the magistrate, according to which the indicted, who was remanded in custody, "was quite confused in his explanations" after his interpellation.
According to police sources, the suspect, Syrian, is around 45 years old and the victim, of the same nationality, is around 30 years old.
