This is after six years in which Keshet's "Next Star" program selected the delegates for the competition

A blow to the rainbow, success for the network: The "X Factor" program of Network 13 is the first to select the next representative for the Eurovision Song Contest next year.

The program will be led by Simon Cowell, and will be judged by Neta Barzilai and Aviv Geffen.

The network's bid in the tender included an advertising package for the corporation's content, and a bid for additional collaborations.

The decision comes after six years in which Keshet's "Next Star" program selected the representatives for the European competition, including Neta Barzilai, who won the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, and is currently one of the judges in "The X Factor".

Last year the corporation announced that the election of the representative would return to it, as in the pre-Eurovision, but strangely changed its decision.
