"With ministers in illegal restaurants": the Bérézina by Pierre-Jean Chalençon
While the Paris prosecutor's office opened an investigation last Sunday for "endangering the lives of others and hidden work", in order to shed light on the holding of these sumptuous feasts in times of pandemic, two of the alleged protagonists of these dinners, the collector Pierre-Jean Chalençon, owner of the Palais Vivienne and his friend, the chef Christophe Leroy, suspected of having cooked during these events, have been interviewed in police custody since 10 a.m. this Friday morning by investigators of the judicial police, indicates the Paris prosecutor to the Parisian, confirming information from BFMTV.
Ministers present?
Their respective homes were searched, Wednesday for the chef and Thursday for the whimsical collector, fan of Napoleon.
It is also for the investigators to verify whether the presence of members of the government at these meals is proven or not, as initially suggested Pierre-Jean Chalençon, before changing his mind.
"In any event and contrary to what has been said in an unprofessional manner, no member of the Government participated in the meals", for his part replied Christophe Leroy's lawyer.
To date, the presence of members of the executive at an illegal dinner has indeed not been determined.
