2021-04-09T17:07:31.820Z

INFO LE PARISIEN. First summoned on April 16 by the investigating judges in charge of the case of the disappearance of his wife, Cédric Jubi

Cédric Jubillar will still have to wait.

Four months after the disappearance of his wife, Delphine Jubillar, on the night of December 15 to 16 in the town of Cagnac-les-Mines (Tarn), he was to be heard on Friday April 16 by the two investigating judges in charge of the 'case.

This in the context of his request for constitution as a civil party.

Prior to the official recognition of the status of victim, this step should also allow him to take note of certain documents in the investigation file.

But according to our information, the appointment planned in the office of the Toulouse magistrates responsible for the investigation was finally postponed by several weeks.

The hearing must now take place during the month of May.

The reason for this postponement has nothing to do with the progress of the investigations, still carried out by the gendarmes of the Toulouse research section with the support of their colleagues from the Albi company.

"There is no drama to expect from this hearing, we are in the classic course", supported a relative of the investigation a few days ago.

A simple problem of timing

According to a judicial source, this delay in summoning Cédric Jubillar would in reality be linked to a simple problem of timing, a consequence of the government decisions of April 1 taken as part of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the meantime, the husband of Delphine Jubillar continues to be considered a potential suspect by investigators.

No element would incriminate him but nothing either would exonerate him for the moment.

A position to say the least uncomfortable.

Contacted, Me Jean-Baptiste Alary, his lawyer, did not wish to comment.

Delphine Jubillar case: investigation into a mysterious disappearance

Delphine Jubillar, a 33-year-old nurse from Albi, disappeared on the night of Tuesday December 15 to Wednesday December 16, 2020. For several months, her couple was struggling and a divorce project by mutual consent was underway.

That evening, the young woman was present at the family home in the presence of her husband and their two children.

According to his version of the facts developed twice in front of the gendarmes, Cédric Jubillar, 33, went to bed around 10:30 p.m., his wife watching television with their 6-year-old son.

Then he would have got up in the night around 4 am, awakened by the tears of their little girl, and would have noticed the absence of his wife.

A week later, on December 23, a judicial investigation was opened on the count of “arbitrary arrest, kidnapping, detention or sequestration”.

Dressed in a white down jacket and probably jeans, Delphine Jubillar would have left her home with her phone, but without identity papers and without means of payment.

In addition to Cédric Jubillar, several people have asked to be recognized as civil parties in this case.

This is the case, on the one hand, of the older sister and two brothers of Delphine Jubillar, and of Nadine Jubillar, mother of Cédric, on the other hand.

Both have not yet received a summons from the investigating judges.

Finally, a group made up of two cousins and four friends of the deceased saw their request rejected, for lack of showing a real bond of attachment with Delphine.
