Darius, "the tallest rabbit in the world" is not one to go unnoticed with his 1.29 meters long recorded in 2010 in the Guinness Book of Records.

And yet, the animal disappeared from its enclosure in the garden of the property of its owners, in Soulton in Worcestershire in England, during the night of Saturday 10 to 11 April.

For its 68-year-old owner, Darius did not take the Key to the Fields on his own but was stolen.

And very seriously, the local police even called for witnesses.

On Twitter, her owner Annette Edwards pledged a £ 1,000 reward for her return, saying the 11-year-old is now too old for breeding, and needs a specific diet. without which he risks dying.

A few years ago, one of Darius' sons had also suffered a sad fate when he was to succeed his father in the book of records.

He was killed in the hold of a United Airlines plane between London and Chicago in the United States.
