A protester attacked Zeev Elkin's 5-year-old daughter.

Why the hell give him another stage?

In fact, it was another standard case of alleged violent assault perpetrated by associates of the prime minister's Knesset.

In the video: Netanyahu supporters demonstrate cursing Elkin's wife, who responded - "Because of you, the children are crying at night" (Walla!)

If there is a paradise, there must be a TV in it. It is tempting to imagine Eliezer Ben Yehuda sitting on a cloud and watching television broadcasts in Hebrew, the language he brought back from the dead. Last night, he got to see on both Channel 11 and News 12 a guy who bears his last name, who uses our beautiful language, in the ugliest way possible. For a moment, it must have felt like hell.

"You are crazy. You are a psychic woman. You are a sick woman. You are selling the State of Israel because you are a poor traitor. That is what you are. Another Russian is a poor traitor

,

"

Rami Ben Yehuda shouted at Maria, the wife of MK Zeev Elkin, outside her home. The private. According to reports, there were also more extreme curses, which the virtual paper does not tolerate. Beautiful words, flying words, rolling from the tongue.

Elkin's young children were exposed to the curses of these reports.

In News 12, Elkin told of the trauma her 5-year-old daughter suffered from the readings.

Here 11 talked to the cute little kids, who look remarkably like their father, only with a look full of innocence instead of the fox bastard who always penetrates the eyes of the veteran politician.

They looked scared.

It was heartbreaking.

More on Walla!

It was a dangerous television broadcaster.

It was hard to watch.

On the other hand, we are already used to it

The two articles were remarkably similar, both of which were signed with a general plea of: "Let's take the families of public figures out of the discourse of hatred." But it's hard not to wonder if these articles do not fuel the exact same discourse. Should viewers really be asked not to curse 5-year-old girls? Should viewers be asked not to use racist and merging curses?

According to News 12 and here 11, it's probably not obvious. As is customary in holiness, our news companies have tried to present even such a simple subject in a "balanced" way. As if there are pros and cons of racist curses. And so, in two major editions, Ben Yehuda was given the opportunity to explain why he attacked the Elkin family, and even added a promise - he will do it again. It’s unclear if this is a misunderstanding of the media role, or while a cynical attempt to get ratings (something at least the public broadcasting corporation shouldn’t do), but the “balanced” coverage that usually feels artificial, this time felt particularly pathetic.

Rami Ben Yehuda, whose brief Google search will remind you that this is not the first time he has revealed his poetic language, should not be staged in any major media outlet.

This is a ridiculous and despicable character, which at best can become a great imitation in a wonderful country (Yaniv Bitton is already warming up on the lines).

In his response to the news channels he not only refused to apologize, but also added an implicit threat regarding further verbal assaults of spouses of public figures he plans for the future.

On target: Naftali Bennett's wife.

For the avoidance of doubt, requesting a response is a binding practice in journalistic coverage, but there is no need to bring the response orally when it is in fact a threat that flirts with incitement to actual violence.

Both channels were able to make do with informing viewers that in a conversation with Ben Yehuda he refused to back down.

The rest of the words that Ben-Yehuda fabricated from his fevered mind could easily have been shelved.

The sin against the viewers was not only in presenting the words of Rami Ben Yehuda, but in presenting the event as my point.

A kind of extremist demonstration that got out of hand.

In fact, it is a standard.

Rami Ben Yehuda is not an innocent demonstrator for Prime Minister Netanyahu who lost it a bit outside the Elkin family home.

Only last November, a criminal indictment was filed against him for an assault that caused real damage, after he forcibly snatched a loudspeaker from the hands of a demonstrator against Netanyahu in Balfour, and caused her injury.

Videos in which he swears at words that would have made the AVI blush are all over the net. As well as a video of him less than a year ago, allegedly coordinating the promotion of his projects in a meeting with right-wing media man Boaz Golan, alongside Likud MK Shlomo Krei. For some reason, there were no reports in last night's editions.

This is not a case of a lone extremist protester, this is the course of action. The Bibists found themselves on the brink of the political abyss, looking in depth, and disliking what they saw. The result, as expected, is violent and ugly. It's not just Rami Ben Yehuda who sends the Elkin family to lock themselves in their home with post-trauma. This is the biblical Ronit who slanders racism about Gideon Saar's daughter on the net. It is Itzik Zarka, Netanyahu's official embracer, who celebrates the firing of missiles at the southern kibbutzim, which he claims was done by the "creator of the world" (and here we kept thinking by mistake that it was Hamas) and calls on Yair Netanyahu to "knock the left, even minorities." This is Orly Lev who curses the bereaved family of the late Tam Farkash. These are dozens of other violent attacks across the country by protesters against Netanyahu.

It is important to note that this violence does not represent all Likud voters, far from it, but it is maintained by the Knesset closest to the prime minister, who is not in a hurry to condemn it. For some reason, the latter's response was not sought in yesterday's edition.

In small

A good word comes to News 13, which chose not to start with the political drama, but with Polo for the painful story of Itzik Saidian, the battle shock that ignited itself outside the offices of the Rehabilitation Division in Petah Tikva.

This is not a journalistic decision, but a value statement.

The political tangle can wait, the distress of the transparent warriors who live among us more urgent.

In addition, the edition chose to emphasize the polluting aspect of the Lag B'Omer celebrations. The Israeli mainstream feels almost subversive.
