The HI Group, the official representative of StreamView GmbH, which holds a product distribution license under the Nokia brand (NOKIA), enters the Streamers market and launches the NOKIA 8000 in Israel, as part of a planned expansion into markets in the Middle East.
Media streams will be available for sale in retail chains starting today (Sunday) at a price of NIS 350.
The NOKIA 8000 is based on the Android 10 operating system, which allows access to more than 7,000 applications that can be downloaded from the Google Play store - such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, and supports 4K UHD video display via an HDMI connection.
The remote also incorporates dedicated buttons for quick transition to Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime Video.
It also includes Google's Voice Assistant and knows how to respond to user's voice commands.
"We are pleased to expand our operations and provide a solution to our customers in the streamers market, which is gaining momentum year after year. In addition to the cellular field, NOKIA is expanding to other worlds and entering the field of interactive products," says Guy de Picciotto, CEO of HY Electronics.
