Caution remains in order.
The High Council of Public Health has slightly adapted the barrier gestures for people who have benefited from a "
complete vaccination schedule
", in a report published on Sunday April 25.
In a private family or friendly setting, when they are in a closed environment, they are authorized to remove the mask, provided that other barrier measures are respected, such as distance and ventilation of the room.

However, the authority specifies that these measures do not come into account, as soon as a member is not vaccinated, or that it is likely to present a risk factor of serious forms.
In the so-called collective framework, in communities or in an external environment, it is recommended to respect the application of barrier measures, including the wearing of masks, and to limit travel "
in accordance with the evolution of national decisions
".
In general, vaccinated citizens must continue to be cautious in the face of this pandemic.
It is still unknown today whether a person who has benefited from a complete vaccination schedule can "
infect other people
".
Moreover, “
the impact of the transmission of variants
” confirms this uncertainty.

Currently, France is in an unfavorable epidemiological situation. The institution still
remains
hopeful, and takes into account "
the effectiveness of the vaccines currently available on serious forms of Covid-19
", "
the effectiveness of barrier measures
", and announces that the intensification of the vaccination campaign should allow "
the gradual resumption of social and economic life in the second part of the year 2021
".
It also invites "to
promote clinical and microbiological follow-up studies of people who have benefited from a vaccination schedule to assess the individual risk of infection by exposure to infected people as well as the risk of transmission, taking into account the different variants of interest
”.
In the United States, the Center for disease control and prevention (CDC) issued a report in early March authorizing people who received two doses to be treated separately.
They can indeed see other people also vaccinated, in a closed space, without wearing a mask or respecting social distancing, as long as they are not at risk.
