Fulminea, the full-electric road hypercar by Automobili Estrema, makes its debut. It will be presented live on Thursday 13 May at the Turin Automobile Museum and will hit the market in the second half of 2023 with 61 units.
The value is estimated at around 2 million euros.
The company was born in 2020 from an idea of Gianfranco Pizzuto, who has always been a visionary entrepreneur in the electrical sector. The car with 1.5 MW of power (2,040 hp) and innovative "hybrid" battery pack made with solid state cells and supercapacitors will be visible in the form of a 1: 1 scale style model.

Our challenge is to enter the world of Italian electric mobility as absolute protagonists and we begin to do so by presenting Fulminea, a car with all the characteristics of a racing car: high performance, cutting-edge technologies and premium materials such as carbon, but with a latest generation full-electric propulsion, unique in the world. Fulminea wants to be a new excellence of Made in Italy, Made in Modena where the engineering and assembly phases take place, and Made in Turin, a city where, thanks to the collaboration with the studio Epta Design,UCIF Models and Est Mobile were made the style and modeling of our hypercar ".
The battery pack will be designed and produced in collaboration with Imecar Elektronic. “Our battery will be managed by the Bms (battery management system) with an innovative software equipped with AI (Artificial Intelligence) provided by Electra Vehicles which worked on the NASA space rover and which is currently on Mars,” Pizzuto says. The propulsion system is equipped with 4 electric motors with an overall peak power of 1.5 Mw (2,040 HP), which allows the Fulminea to accelerate from 0 to 320 km / h in less than 10 seconds. The battery pack has a capacity of 100 kWh with an expected range according to the WLTP cycle of 520 km. Thanks to the use of solid state cells,the high-performance hybrid battery that makes use of "cell to pack" technology will reach a record energy density with 500Wh / kg which is equivalent to 1,200 Wh / l, with a battery weight of only 300 kg and a total mass in running order of 1,500 kg.
