IPhone users? The Signal app brings with it a big line, even for people who do not use it at all - it will protect your smartphone from hackers, even if they use the most innovative and sophisticated methods to hack into your device. The Signal messaging app has gained a lot of popularity in recent months, especially after updating WhatsApp's procedures regarding information sharing with Facebook. Tens of millions of people have already downloaded it out of a promise to keep its users private. Now, according to the company, the new update to the app contains code that serves as a "virtual bait" for iPhone hacking software, which will actually prevent hackers from accessing the data on the device.

It is important to emphasize that even without a signal, it is very difficult to hack into Apple devices, and especially to extract information from them without an access code, even if you have an active one.

However, hackers and law enforcement have managed to bypass Apple's walls of defense more than once using a device called "Celebrity's physical surgeon."

And if this sounds familiar to you, it's probably because it's an Israeli device developed by the security company Celebrity, which has offices in Petah Tikva.

The same device allows a physical connection to the iPhone, thus allowing it to be hacked manually, scanned its contents and then made a copy.

A few months ago, Celebrity announced that it had also embedded in its product a tool that could bypass the encryption that Single uses, which has raised quite a few eyebrows in the industry.

Signal director Matthew "Moxie" Rosenfeld made a threatening statement last week when he said he "saw a package fall from a truck while walking", a package that just happened to contain a celebrity device inside.

In response to a statement from the Israeli company, Moxie shared that with the help of his co-workers, he found some security issues that allow hackers to plant a malicious file in a particular app on the iPhone.
