A Palestinian woman armed with a knife tried to stab soldiers at the Gush Etzion junction last night (Sunday) - and was shot by an IDF force. The suspect, a 60-year-old resident of Hussein near Bethlehem, was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem in critical condition.
In response to the shooting, Yair Golan tweeted "I want to tell you that I am shocked. A 60-year-old woman was shot dead by two armed soldiers from head to toe. True, she waved a knife, but this is not how fighters behave," he wrote on his personal Twitter account.
