Less than a week after the update to iOS 14.5, Apple is releasing a new update and urging users to update to it quickly.
Version 14.5.1, released last night for users around the world, includes fixes for some serious security issues.
"The latest update provides some very important security updates, and we encourage all our users to update their devices quickly," Apple said.
The company also admitted that there was a suspicion that hackers had already tried to exploit some of these vulnerabilities.
In doing so, in fact, it can be assumed that the same weaknesses were discovered as a result.
The new update also fixes a bug in which some users have reported that they have not been able to properly enable and configure the new feature, which allows them to select which apps are allowed to follow.

The latest update for iOS and macOS is not the first that Apple has released in the past year to address security issues, which were discovered in "zero day attacks".
Those attacks actually reveal security vulnerabilities they did not know about before.
That is, it has been 0 days since they were first published.
Similar to the previous updates the company released during the year, the latter also comes to solve the security issues in WebKit - the engine that runs the Safari browser.
Engine vulnerabilities have allowed hackers to lead users to unsafe sites, and then run malicious code onto their devices.
This is such a serious security issue that Apple has even released an update, iOS 12.5.3, for older iPhones and iPads, which also fixes additional security vulnerabilities.
