Two years after the last episode of "Game of Thrones" aired, and a little over a decade after marking a decade since its inception, today (Wednesday) the HBO cable network publishes the first images from the first daughter series intended - "Dragon House".
This is a television adaptation of George R. R. Martin's book "Fire and Blood", which also came out with a Hebrew translation by Opus, like the rest of Martin's book "A Song of Fire and Ice". The book accompanies the regular series, and its plot takes place about three hundred years ago The "Game of Thrones" events, when the Targaryen House (from which Daenerys later came) first settled in Dragonstone after the destruction of Valeria. Wedding, and that eventually became her dragons.
The series was created by Ryan Condel ("The Colony"), Martin himself and director Miguel Spuchnik, who is responsible for some of the most memorable episodes of the mother series, including "Hardhome" and "Battle of the Bastards", as well as "The Long Night" - the dark battle episode On Winterfell. Spotsnik will also direct additional episodes in the series.
The new images feature actors Emma Darcy ("Hannah", "Truth Seekers") and Matt Smith ("The Crown"), Olivia Cook ("Me and Earl and the One Who Is About to Die") and Reese Evans ("Notting Hill"), as well as Steve Toussaint. Apart from them, the cast also includes Paddy Considine ("The Third Day"), Yves Best ("Fate: The Winx Saga") and others.
"Dragon House" is the first of six planned series from the "Game of Thrones" world, which are in various stages of development, and it is not certain that they will all reach the finish line. "Dragon House"It itself will probably hit screens in 2021.
