The accused admitted to having stabbed in Ain, the night of August 16 to 17, 2017, a 52-year-old computer scientist with whom she had a relationship.

"If he had not done all that to me, today I would not be here in front of you", declared the defendant on Tuesday, in a tearful voice.

This former escort girl, tried for having stabbed one of her clients, in Saint-Genis-Pouilly (Ain) in August 2017, was sentenced Wednesday at the end of the evening to 10 years of criminal imprisonment.

The jury, after a deliberation of more than three hours, did not follow the requisitions of the Advocate General who had asked for 17 years.

For three days, the Assize Court of Ain focused on examining the elusive personality of Anaëlle P., tried for "murder and fraud". If the accused admitted to having stabbed on the night of August 16 to 17, 2017 Jean-Luc D., a 52-year-old computer scientist with whom she had a relationship, she nevertheless invoked self-defense by claiming to have been raped by the victim during of a sadomasochistic session. She then transported the body in her car, to Italy, where it was found partly charred in the Aosta Valley, near the A5 motorway.

"We have no proof of an aggression, we cannot retain self-defense," said Advocate General Eric Sandjivy in his indictment.

The magistrate also recalled that no male DNA had been found on the dildo allegedly used by the victim against the accused.

He also questioned the fact that the young woman was able to have intimate relations with a boyfriend, three days after the alleged assault.

Fake SMS, withdrawals with the victim's bank card ...

Eric Sandjivy further considered that the fatal blows carried by the accused may have resulted from a "murderous impulse" during the sex game, in reaction to the personality of the victim described as non-violent but acerbic.

An "internal rage which exploded", had explained earlier at the bar Patrick Dessez, expert psychologist, noting the "cleavage" of personality of Anaëlle P.

According to the latter, the young woman, also a waitress, had spent her life concealing her "secret activity" as an escort girl, "organized like an addiction", hence her ease in multiplying lies after the tragedy. She had thus exchanged fake SMS, made withdrawals with the victim's bank card while being disguised to make believe that the computer scientist was still alive or even accepted a white marriage.

"To smear the memory of a dead person, at one point, stop!" ”, Declared for his part the lawyer of the sister of the deceased, Me Xavier Moroz, who vigorously contested the version of the accused. "Either she is lying deliberately, or she is locked into a logic from which she cannot get out," he added, noting "the young woman's extraordinary adaptability". "What makes you doubt this scene?" She was raped, she defended herself legitimately ", had pleaded in defense Me Jean-Félix Luciani, reproaching the public prosecutor for not taking into account" the reality of prostitution ", and to ignore" the relationship of domination and the commodification of human relationships ”.
