What motivated such violence?

Shortly before 9 a.m., this Friday morning, two men were struck by the driver of a car who ran over them in the parking lot of the Decathlon brand in the city, reports Sud Ouest.

One of them was then kicked and kicked with an iron bar by two people exiting the vehicle.

The two men were waiting near a car when suddenly the vehicle speeded up and hit them on purpose, as shown in the video we obtained.

One of the two people targeted barely had time to move away but was still hit by the driver.

The second was hit head-on and thrown extremely violently against a tree.

Two individuals then got out of the "ram car" and beat the second victim, on the ground, with kicks and an iron bar.

The two men victims of this attack, aged 35 and 57, are very seriously injured, explains Sud Ouest.

They were rescued by the firefighters and the Smur before being evacuated to the local CHU.

Witnesses of the scene intervened to put an end to the violence against the two men on the ground.

The attackers who then left the scene quickly with their vehicle have since been actively sought by the police.

The investigation, on what could be a settling of scores, was entrusted to the police officers of the unit for attacking people of the Departmental Security of Gironde.
