The investigation promises to be difficult.
A morning walker made a macabre discovery this Saturday morning in the north of Marseille.
Shortly after 8 am, the man out for a walk in the Parc de l'Oasis (15th arrondissement), near the city of the northern districts of Marseille Le Castellas, encountered a corpse according to La Provence.
The walker quickly alerted the police and emergency services, who could only note that the victim, aged about thirty, had died.
The stranger died after receiving several stab wounds according to initial findings.
The investigations were entrusted to the local judicial police.
The murder was described as "enigmatic" by a police source in La Provence. For the moment, it is not known if the thirty-something was killed on the spot or stabbed elsewhere, then transported and abandoned in this park. It is also impossible to know if it is linked to a private dispute, a very bad nighttime meeting, or if it is part of the litany of settling of scores against the backdrop of drug trafficking in the Marseille city.
