Exiled Iranian director returns to Tehran - and murdered by his elderly parents as "Family Honor"

The director, who returned to his homeland Iran after living in London, was murdered and dismembered by his 80-year-old Iranian parents because he did not marry and in the name of "family honor" - according to foreign media reports.
The director, in the 47-year-old Dust Hornmandin, was drugged and dismembered into pieces found in bins and a suitcase. His father confessed to the murder after he was arrested with his wife in Tehran, and according to reports in the news agencies he said: "Because of the disputes between us, I drugged him this morning (Sunday) by anesthetics and then stabbed him to death. ". Tehran police found evidence of the murder during a search of the family home, according to reports.
Hornedmin moved to London a year after graduating with a master's degree in cinema from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran in 2009. He studied cinema in the English capital, returning to Iran to teach the field in his homeland.
Iranian media said the assassination "shocked the country."
Another shocking case was recently reported, in which the head of a 20-year-old man was beheaded in Iran by his brother and cousin after they found out he was gay.
