Jean-Marc Jancovici, president and founder of Carbone 4 and of the Shift project think-tank, which brings together energy transition experts, replied on LinkedIn.
According to him, the illumination of the Eiffel Tower would have produced more carbon dioxide using renewable hydrogen than simply being plugged into the electricity grid!
