Blue light, dangerous for the skin?

Visible rays, especially blue light, are not harmless to the skin as it was once thought.

It was found that this visible light was the main cause of pigment spots (with plaques on the forehead, cheeks, etc.) of pregnant women or women taking estrogen-progestogen (melasma) and people with dark or mixed skin.

Blue light also promotes the appearance of dark spots on the skin over time and therefore indirectly contributes to aging of the skin.

On the other hand, to date, it has no known oncological effects.
