Drake Bell, who starred as Drake in Nickelodeon's hit series "Drake and Josh," has been accused of trying to endanger children and distributing harmful substances to teens.
According to court documents, Cleveland police arrested 34-year-old Bell, who pleaded guilty in Koyahoga District Court last Thursday.
Bell, who has pleaded not guilty in court, was released on $ 2,500 personal bail and allowed to contact his alleged victim.
The Koyahoga prosecutor's office said the 15-year-old complainant filed a complaint with local Canada police in October 2018, regarding an incident that occurred a year earlier in Cleveland.
Officials told U.S. media that Canadian authorities had contacted the Cleveland Police Department, which was conducting an investigation into the allegations.
According to reports, the investigation revealed that the victim had contacted Bell several years earlier, and then came to his show in Cleveland in December 2017.
