A US survey - the largest ever to study the long-term effects of the disease - poses a disturbing finding: nearly a quarter of people who have contracted Covid-19 face health problems that they were previously unknown.

Nearly a quarter of people who have contracted Covid-19 face health problems a month or more later that they did not experience before their infection, according to a large study by Fair Health, an independent organization , having analyzed the medical data of nearly two million Americans affected by the virus.

The main problems were pain (neuralgia, muscle pain ...) for 5% of people, and difficulty in breathing, in 3.5% of cases, followed by hypertension, indisposition or great fatigue, anxiety, then bowel problems.
