The investigation had stagnated for months.

It accelerated this week, six months after Delphine Jubillar, a 33-year-old nurse and mother, disappeared in the Tarn.

Her husband, Cédric Jubillar, was brought before a judge this Friday.

On Wednesday, he was arrested at his place of work and taken into custody, as our newspaper revealed.

Cédric's mother, Nadine Jubillar, 50, as well as her stepfather, had also been taken into police custody.

Inconsistencies in the story

Until now, no police custody had taken place, no material evidence or decisive testimony, it was believed, and above all no trace of Delphine Jubillar, who disappeared during that night from December 15 to 16, 2020 in Cagnac-les- Mines in the Tarn.

But the gendarmes brought to light inconsistencies in the account of the night of the tragedy as well as a potential motive.

Cédric Jubillar, an interim plasterer, was heard at the end of April as "civil party", therefore victim, by the judges.

A strategy of justice to put him in confidence and push him to relax his vigilance.

In fact, for six months, magistrates and investigators discreetly monitored this mysterious companion.

Investigators have been intrigued by his behavior in recent weeks, as he tried to focus the suspicions of the gendarmes on another man.

This lead, like all the others, was ruled out after checking the alibis.

All that remained was Cédric Jubillar's trail, reinforced by the existence of a potential motive: a murder possibly committed out of fear of being left, or even dishonored.

The investigations have never ceased, the mobilization of relatives of the nurse through beatings and citizen marches has never wavered, as again on Saturday in Albi during a white march.

In which Cédric participated.
