More than 8 years since it was acquired by Facebook, for the first time Instagram allows uploading photos through the browser on a computer.
Initially, the social network allows you to post only posts (photos), while Stories and Reels (Reels) you can still post through the app only.
"We know that many people access Instagram from their computer," a company spokeswoman told Bloomberg News.
"To enhance this experience, we are now testing the ability to create an Instagram post using their desktop browser."

How It Works?
You can find the new plus (+) icon in the upper right corner, to the left of the Explore button.
Clicking on the new icon will open a window through which you can select the image directly from the computer.
After adding the file - by manually dragging or selecting the file explorer, you can crop the image to the appropriate size and add a specific filter to it, along with additional editing tools.
At the end, as in the app, you can add text, location and tags.
Want to try for yourself?
Go to the website (here), and log in to the account.
It should be noted that the new update will come gradually in the coming weeks to all users.
