The feminicide that occurred on Friday in Gironde once again shows the limits of measures to protect women in danger. The suspect had just been

It is a peaceful and residential area of Bordeaux, away from the city center.

Since Friday, Saint-Augustin has been in shock, traumatized by the murder of a young woman.

Just a few hundred meters from the Arlac district in Mérignac where on May 7, Chahinez Boutaa, a mother of three children, was killed in horrific circumstances.

This time again, the investigators of the zonal direction of the judicial police for the South West, like the prosecution, retain the feminicide. The victim's companion, Mickaël F., originally from Chartres and aged 37, was taken into custody on Friday for the count of spousal homicide. At the end of this, he was to be indicted and imprisoned in the Gradignan remand center. He had just been placed under judicial supervision with a ban on coming into contact with his ex-partner.

Friday around 9:30 am, a local resident calls, distraught, the central police station of Bordeaux.

He gave the alert after hearing the cries of a woman coming from 32 bis, rue de la Camena-d'Almeida.

Quickly there, the police patrol discovers the horror.

“The first troops entered through the entrance gate to the house but no one answered the calls, they entered the house and discovered the lifeless body of a woman in the living room, her face bleeding. , obviously carrying stab wounds ”indicated the public prosecutor of Bordeaux Frederique Porterie in a press release.

A separation that was going very badly

Despite the rapidity of the rescue, the victim, very seriously injured in particular in the throat, could not be revived. Sandra P. was 31 years old. She had been living there for a few months. She was the mother of a four-year-old girl, who was not present at the time of the incident. The child has since been the subject of psychological and social care, specifies the prosecution. By decision of the family court judge in May, Sandra P. had sole custody since her separation from her companion, which had been ongoing since January. A separation that was going very badly.

According to someone close to the investigation, the young woman's neighbors reportedly repeatedly reported to the police station the harassment of Mickaël F. He often came in front of the house. The victim was afraid of him, to the point that his parents had come to live with her until the spring. So immediately, suspicion fell on the ex-companion, who lives four hundred meters away, rue Émile-Combes in Mérignac. The alleged perpetrator barricaded himself at his home when the police attended. On Friday, when he sees the police, he threatens to end his life. The authorities then requested the intervention of the Raid. Mickaël F. was arrested at noon a few hours after the incident without bloodshed. Elite police used stun grenades, which caused a stir in the sector.

Sandra P. had already filed a complaint

The prosecutor of the Republic of Bordeaux has provided several elements on the alleged murderer and his profile.

He had already been sentenced six times between 2004 and 2009, "but never for acts of violence," said Frédérique Porterie.

These were traffic offenses and narcotics legislation.

Nothing that could arouse a new controversy after the ministerial report on the feminicide of Arlac two months ago which had criticized the dysfunctions in the follow-up of the alleged murderer of Chahinez Boutaa.

On the other hand, a key element should shed even more revolting light on the events that occurred on Friday. Again, the victim Sandra P. had filed a complaint against her ex-companion. Between January 3 and June 17, he had sent her numerous times "malicious messages by electronic means" according to the magistrate. On Tuesday, June 29, Mickaël F. had even been referred and placed under judicial control. He was forbidden to come into contact with her, the obligation to submit to treatment and to justify it. He was to appear on November 16 before the Bordeaux Criminal Court. Its potential dangerousness had not been apprehended at this stage. However, three days later, Mickaël F. would therefore have committed the irreparable. If found guilty, he faces life imprisonment.
