A man was shot dead in the night from Sunday to Monday in Marseille, and a woman injured by a gun in the same neighborhood, we learned from corroborating sources.
In the 13th arrondissement of Marseille, at 4:40 am, the police were called for a 31-year-old woman with gunshot wounds.
According to a police source, she was hit by four impacts and her life is not in danger.
But a few minutes later, the police were called again to another person with gunshot wounds nearby, and discovered a man, also in his thirties, dead in a car.
Narcotics Account Settlements
The judicial police confirmed to AFP that they had received a homicide and an attempted homicide on Monday, without giving further details.
A week earlier, two young men in their twenties were shot dead in two inner cities of Marseille.
Since the beginning of the year, five people have died in settlements linked to narcotics in the Bouches-du-Rhône according to the police headquarters.
