Shiomi has become the second largest smartphone maker in the world

Chinese technology giant Apple is verified overtook sales of smartphones and climbed to second place global sales chart - according to a report by research firm Canalys released over the weekend. According to the report, the second quarter of 2021 global smartphone deliveries increased by 12%.
According to the report " H, Shiomi's smartphone sales placed it for the first time ever in second place, with a market share of 17% and an annual increase of 83 percent.
In first place is Samsung with a market share of 19% - a distance of a few percent from the Chinese manufacturer.
Apple, on the other hand, dropped to third place - but maintained a 14 percent market share.

In fourth place is the Chinese cellular giant OPPO with a market share of 10%, along with a 28% increase in sales.
Immediately behind it is Vivo with the same market share of 10% and an increase of only 27 percent.
Both manufacturers are part of BBK Corporation, which also owns OnePlus and realme.
"Shiomi is growing its international business rapidly," wrote Canalys research director Ben Stanton, adding, "Its shipments have increased by more than 300% in Latin America, 150% in Africa and 50% in Western Europe."
Also, according to him, the Chinese cellular giant Stanton sells smartphones at a price that is about 75 percent lower than Apple, but still wants to enter the premium device market as well.
