The lifeless body of a 51-year-old man, reported missing Tuesday evening, was found a few hours later in the premises of the company that employed him, in Blois (Loir-et-Cher).
A 56-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into police custody for intentional manslaughter.
He did not explain his gesture, according to France Info.
Tuesday, the victim had not returned from work, his wife had then alerted his brother who had warned the police services of Tours, around 10 pm. After seeing that the man was not in any hospital, the police went to his workplace. There they found a 56-year-old man blocking the warehouse door. Shortly after having arrested the individual, unknown to the services, the police discovered the body of the disappeared; as well as what appears to be the murder weapon: a knife with a 30 cm blade. According to the medical examiner, the victim died Tuesday morning, hit in the heart. An autopsy of the victim was also scheduled Wednesday, according to the prosecutor of the Republic of Blois. The investigation was entrusted to the territorial direction of the judicial police of Orleans.
