The 300 or so passengers on flight SS-636, operated by the Corsair company, had to wait an extra day in Marseille before reaching Reunion, reports the regional daily Provence on Wednesday.
Supposed to leave Marseille-Provence airport on Monday at 10:05 p.m., the plane finally took off from the tarmac twenty-five hours later, Tuesday evening, at 11:10 p.m. precisely.
This delay would be linked, according to information from Provence, to a "technical problem with the device" as well as "the difficulty of recovering a part to repair it".
One night in a hotel
The Alyzia company, which provides ground assistance, "took charge of the passengers by offering them a hotel night and lunch and dinner," said the airport to the regional daily.
