A man, shot and wounded in Paris on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, died of his injuries.
The 21-year-old victim was shot in the abdomen.
She died during her transfer to the hospital.
The drama began on rue de Tanger, in the 19th arrondissement, in the north-east of the capital.
The young man was known to the police and justice, according to sources familiar with the matter.
An investigation for “intentional homicide” was opened and entrusted to the second district of the Paris judicial police (DPJ).
The investigation is still in its early stages, and has not resulted in a custody.
This sector of Paris is regularly singled out for its insecurity.
