Eight teenagers were injured this Friday morning in a minibus accident in Cantal, including one seriously.
This accident resulted in the cut-off of the A75 motorway in the North-South direction.
The accident which occurred at 7.40 am shortly before Saint-Flour "involved a minibus, whose passengers are teenagers, and a heavy vehicle", detailed the prefecture.
One of the teenagers was transported by helicopter "in absolute urgency" to the hospital of Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme), said the firefighters.

Seven other teenagers as well as the driver of the minibus, more slightly injured, were transported to the hospital of Saint-Flour.
The driver of the truck is unharmed.
The blood alcohol and narcotics tests are negative.
"The White plan is triggered to mobilize the means adapted to the situation and a medico-psychological unit is set up", specifies the prefecture.
A summer camp
According to the regional daily La Montagne, the minibus transporting the teenagers came from Amiens (Somme) and headed towards Cap d'Agde (Hérault) for a summer camp.
He was in the process of overtaking the truck when the two vehicles collided.
On the eve of a busy weekend on the roads, the A75 motorway had to be cut in the North-South direction at exit 23. In the South-North direction, traffic was disturbed at the height of the accident with slowdowns over two kilometers.
