This seems obvious to us, carrying a primordial stake: it is indeed what we learn to do during all our education and it is what guarantees our free will, isn't it?

The history of philosophy is rich in answers, varying according to the times.

Conversely, the philosophers of the Renaissance want to affirm the possibility of a science delivered from religions.
