An investigation was opened after the complaint of a doctor from Arcachon (Gironde), who discovered that his profile had been used on the site of the Health insurance for health professionals, in order to publish 55 false vaccine certificates .

The investigation was opened by the Bordeaux prosecutor's office and entrusted to the judicial police for fraud, fraudulent modification of the data of an automated processing system, in particular following the complaint of the practitioner, who discovered the fraud last Sunday, said the prosecution, confirming information from the daily Sud Ouest.

The fraudster (s), according to a source close to the case, obtained the doctor's identification number, in circumstances that the investigation will have to establish, and succeeded in activating his profile on the “pro” account of the Insurance Disease, issuing false vaccine certificates, presumably for the purpose of reselling them to unvaccinated people.

Multiplication of procedures

It was the repeated secure connection requests on his cell phone that alerted the doctor, while the local vaccination center, where he works, was closed on Sunday, according to Sud Ouest.

On Wednesday, the Health Insurance said that the procedures for forgery and use of false health passes were increasing, with 46 requisitions received since May, including 10 for the first two days of the week, and 30 complaints and reports filed by the funds of Social Security.

Several people have been indicted in recent weeks, in Paris, Grenoble, Bordeaux, in particular, in cases of false vaccination certificates. And a prison sentence - which was converted into house arrest - was pronounced at the end of July in Seine-Saint-Denis against a contract of a vaccidrive which had generated 200 false QR codes to resell them.
