Haut-Rhin: a truck loses its cargo of 6,000 chickens

After the coffee capsules, the chickens ... Wanting to avoid a deer, the driver of a heavy truck lost control of his vehicle, early this Thursday morning, at a roundabout in the town of Sierentz (Haut- Rhine).

The truck lying in the ditch, its cargo took the opportunity to pack up… 6,000 hens were able to taste the fresh air through their transport crates, tells the newspaper L'Alsace.

Others, specify France Bleu, were able to cheer up along the road.

The accident was not injured, but traffic was disrupted until 10 am, explains L'Alsace.

The 6,000 hens had to be recovered and transferred to another working truck.

"Be careful, there are plenty of chickens on the road," warned on Facebook "Info trafic Haut-Rhin", a page on which motorists report disturbances in the department.
