Waiting to see it at the stand of the Bavarian Motor Show, what leaps to the eye are the aesthetic innovations concerning the electric SUV: the new BMW iX3 has a silhouette that will lead the way to the other models of the era of electric mobility. It is the first to feature fifth generation BMW eDrive technology.

With a range of up to 460 km in the WLTP test cycle, the iX3 immediately distinguishes itself by a recognizable front with a larger kidney grille than in the past and slimmer headlights. At the rear, the electric SUV shows off its muscles, all combined with three-dimensional and impressive LED headlights. The M package is provided as standard, capable of giving an even more dynamic look to this model. Inside, among the goodies are the sports seats and the BMW Live Cockpit Professional with 12.3-inch screen. BMW i Blue accents are featured on the gear lever, the Start / Stop button and the steering wheel. What does not change is the powertrain capable of developing a power of 210 kW / 286 hp and 400 Nm of maximum torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is expected in just 6.8 seconds.

The engine is powered by an 80 kWh high voltage battery. The combined charging unit allows fast charging in direct current (DC) up to 150 kW. The 10-minute quick charge adds around 100km of range in the WLTP cycle.
