A motorist plunged two children between life and death this Thursday evening around 9:30 p.m. in Fréjus (Var).
According to France Bleu Provence, the driver of the vehicle fled after hitting two children aged 7 and 9 as well as their mother.
It was nevertheless blocked a few meters further by other vehicles, reports Var Matin.

He also hit a fire hydrant, torn off by the car giving way to a huge jet of water in the middle of the road which left passers-by amazed.
According to witnesses cited by Nice Matin, the vehicle involved is a Range Rover SUV which was traveling at around 100 km / h.
The three hospitalized victims
A large rescue device was deployed with 28 rescuers but also five ambulances, a Smur team and even a civil security helicopter.
The younger of the two hit children was in cardiopulmonary arrest when help arrived.
He was transferred to the Fréjus hospital center while the elder was taken by helicopter to Nice.

Their mother's injuries are more superficial but still required hospitalization.
For the moment, the vital prognosis of the two children is still engaged.
