Metal and electrical industry reports loss of 200,000 jobs

The metal and electrical industry is recording a decline in employment as a result of the corona pandemic and the change to more climate protection.
"Since the recession of 2019, more than 200,000 jobs in the metal and electrical industry have already been lost," said Gesamtmetall President Stefan Wolf to the newspapers of the Funke media group.
This year, too, the decline will continue in a weaker form.

: Practices are available for young people who are willing to vaccinate

The chairman of the Association of General Practitioners, Ulrich Weigeldt, told the Funke Mediengruppe newspapers: "Pediatric and general practitioners' practices are available for young people who are willing to vaccinate, even if demand increases."
Weigeldt criticized that politics had put pressure on Stiko.

Turkey
becomes Corona high-risk area - in the middle of the holiday season

Due to increased corona infections, Turkey is now a high-risk area from a German perspective.

This emerges from a communication from the Robert Koch Institute.
Entrants who have neither recovered nor vaccinated have to go into quarantine for ten days after their return - from the fifth day this can be ended with a negative corona test.
For children under the age of twelve, the obligation to quarantine automatically ends after five days, as stated on the Ministry of Health's website.
The federal government made the decision to classify it as a high-risk area last week - around a month and a half after the travel warning for all of Turkey was lifted.
It is now valid again.
The number of cases in Turkey rose rapidly at the end of July, and currently more than 20,000 new cases are officially registered every day.
In July it was about 7,000 per day. For comparison: In Germany, 3912 new cases were reported on Tuesday, with a similar population.
In addition to the incidence, hospitalization and the vaccination rate are part of it, in order to be able to decide from what number and from which vaccination rate one can assume a relatively low risk of spread.
It must be clear to everyone that the incidences would rise before the general election.
